A career in wine & a passion for mixology. Returning home to South Africa to re-connect with a region that boasts one of the largest, indigenous, floral kingdoms,
in the world. Over 16,000 species of plant; Fynbos. Each with unique medicinal, aromatic flavour compounds. Inspiring a new intention, to create something truly 'of the land' to set the standard in tonic essences, around the world.
Everything is made by hand, locally. Spending months high up in the Cederberg Mountains, researching & foraging. Experimenting & perfecting distillation
techniques to preserve the natural oils, tannins, polyphenols and other vital compounds. Taking the time to blend precisely, finding balance of natural bitterness, fruit and floral notes, without any need for additives.
Floral, Spice and Citrus, pure, concentrated, Botanical Tonic Essences. Using Cinconcha bark as the base, Citrus and Ginger for the core, Flora and Fauna for the top notes. Served simply with soda or sparkling water, over ice. Or equally with Gin. Pure, Complex, Balanced & Versatile.
Extracted from a selection of fresh citrus zests and Buchu giving its distinctive aroma. Buchu, part of the Fynbos Floral Kingdom, is traditionally used for digestive ailments. We find it growing in the wild on the mid slopes of the Cape Mountains
