Grapes - Nero d'Avola
Region - Sicily, Italy
Winemaking - Following a manual harvest, grapes are fermented in stainless steel with native yeasts, followed by 6 months ageing in stainless steel, then 5 months in wooden barrels. Unfined, unfiltered and just a small amount of sulphur added.
What it tastes Like - A natural red wine that is bright, fresh, medium bodied with notes of plum, black cherry and smoke.
