Winemaking - 16 days of maceration followed by 26 months in Slovenian Oak. Work in the vineyard is sustainable without being organic. They are south facing which aids ripeness and the soils are calcareous with sand.
What it tastes Like - The queen of Italian grapes. This Nebbiolo is intense and precise all at the same time. Bags of red fruit, spice (from the Slovenian Oak) and a hint of citrus. This is As good as Nebbiolo gets (and at a fraction of the price of good Barolo!)
